The Penang Free Shuttle service is run by the Georgetown Municipal Council. Walk to your right, there is a free shuttle service bus stop as you come from the ferry. Also the Rapid bus terminal is station there.
You will not miss this bus stop as there is a red sign that tells you, it is a free shuttle bus stop. The number on the bus also tells you which roads it will drive through.
Before using the bus, get the proper change. Most buses used coin machines to collect fares.
There are 3 type of bus services running for the island. The bus starting points are at Weld Quay, when you alight from the ferry. Penang Free shuttle happens to be one of them.
Look at the numbers of the shuttle bus stops. It tells you which part of Georgetown you are in.

There are an abundant of places of interest, places of worship, heritage craft and arts to see and watch. Most of these arts are slowly dying off. Have a good clear map to travel with you when you are in Penang my island.
I love Penang so much! My hands seems to be slow in writing and catching all the going to be gone photos. But I will endeavor with it the support of my friends and family members.
Their comments have been very heartening and it seem a worthy cause to carry on this quest of mine. :) I speak from the hearts of my hearts.
